Language training contract signed for the 2nd intake

On the 26th of March Mr. Clemens Smolders, the lead expert of the STF Programme and the Beijing Foreign Studies University represented by Mr. Jiang Xufan, Vice Chairman of University Council signed their second agreement covering the 6-months language training for the Fellows of the 2nd intake. We look forward to another successful Chinese language training period, which will create a new pool of European Chinese speaking researchers.
Selection for the 2nd Intake

The Selection process for the 2nd intake of the STF Programme has been completed. The interviews have taken place from 8 to 12 in February. The results will be announced by the EU Delegation in Beijing in early March.
DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL 04 January 2010

As the time period for application was rather short, it has been agreed to extend the deadline for submission of proposals for the 2nd intake. Please refer to the revised timeline in the Guidelines for Applicants. Candidates who submit their application after the 15 December 2009 are requested to confirm the sending date of your package via email to DELEGATION-CHINA-CALL-TENDER@ec.europa.eu.
