Joint STF-DAAD-Fulbright Forum for Western Academics in China

The weekend of June 5 through 7, saw the first joint Forum of the STF-DAAD-Fulbright researchers in Beijing. The purpose of the forum was to exchange views and experiences on doing research in China. The formal dinner was also attended by the director, Division European Affairs of the Ministry of Education. Several keynote speakers gave the attendees an insight into what it is like to do research in a Chinese environment, after which the participants discussed key issues in small discussion groups.
